Born Nov 16, 1894, in Struble, Iowa.

Son of F. W. and Kathryn Schneider.

Enlisted April 8, 1917; at Grinnell; entered Camp Cody; transferred to Camp Dix; first entered Troop D, 1st Iowa Cav.; transferred to Co. E, 109th Amm. Tr., 34th Div.

Died Oct 3, 1918, at Camp Dix, from Spanish influenza.

Mess Seregeant.

Had passed examination for officer's training school in England.
