McMahan, Ray

Born Mar 31, 1887 in Perry, IA.

Son of John and Phebe C. McMahan.

Enlisted May 13, 1917 at Ft. Snelling.

Entered Ft. Snelling; transferred to Camp Dodge; first entered Co. M, 1st Provisional Reg., 163rd Depot Brigade.

Commissioned at Camp Dodge. Recommended for promotion by commanding officer Sep 30, 1918 and by general commanding officer Nov 6, 1919.

Captain.
