Son of Thomas Early and Emma Fortner Mann.

Enlisted July 14, 1918 at Toledo; entered Hdq. Training Detachment; transferred to Camp Dodge; first entered Co. A, 219th F. Sig. Bn., 19th Div.

Mustered out Jan 23, 1919.

Sergeant.
