Does anyone know what happened to Mrs. Mabel Torgerson who was a public school teacher in Maxwell in 1930 (per the census)? She was born in North Dakota, lived in Iowa and was a young widow with a young daughter when teaching in Maxwell. In 1930 she was 33 years old. Remarried? Left? Anyone know?
