Nathan P. Price b. June 8, 1813 in Portage Co., OH d. 17 Dec 1892 in Colfax, Jasper County, Iowa when he went to feed his son, Henry's mean mules. They killed the old man. He was buried beside his 1st wife Julia Gardner in the Nevada Cemetery, Nevada, Story County, Iowa.
He had 8 known children: Nathan Gardner Price b. May 1839 Ohio, Abbie N. Price b. ca 1843 Ohio, twins: J.V. George Price & Georgiana Price b. ca 1844-1846 Illinois, Belle Caroline Price b. May 9, 1851 Stark County, Ohio, Blanche b. ca 1858 in Iowa. By his 2nd wife, Sarah (b. March 1832 New York): May b. May 1866 Illinois and Henry b. ca 1870 Missouri.
