TWOMBLY, HEPLER, LINDSAY

I am seaarching for any information or documentation for Amos H Twombly. He shows up in Nevada, Story Co, Iowa several times between 1871 & 1886. He was in
Poweshiek, Jasper, Iowa in the 1870 census. His wife Mary Eliza Lindsay died in 1878, presumably in Iowa. I cannot find him in the 1880 census. He was married in Nevada, Story Co June 22, 1886 to Mary Ann Hepler, and she shows he died 3 days later, June 25, 1886. I find no record of that other than her marriage license a while later. Any information on this family would be greatly appreciated.
