Your date of death and place of death are incorrect.

Margaret (Dailey) Child Garrett. She died May 9, 1935 in Grinnell, Poweshiek county, Iowa. Her death certificate lists October 22, 1841 in Bureau county, Illinois as her date and place of birth and May 9, 1935 at 1404 Broad Street in Grinnell for her death. Cause of death was enteritis.

Early Day Nevada Woman is Dead

Mrs. Margaret Garrett, earlier day resident of Nevada, died Thursday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Belle Rayburn in Grinnell. The body will be brought to Nevada after funeral services in Grinnell Saturday and will be laid to rest in the Nevada ceme­tery. The committal service here will be at 2:00, in charge of Rev. Loose. Mrs. Garrett, past 90 years of age, was the daughter of Wil­son and Margaret Dailey, who lived between Nevada and Ames in an early day. Her first husband was Chester Child, eldest son of David Child, who died October 21, 1867. Later she married Mr. Gar­rett who passed away during their residence here.
