My family includes Ellen Miriam Robinson (B. 20 Nov. 1841, Elburn, Ill) who married Richard R. Kimble and lived in Story Co. She was the daughter of William Horace Robinson born in Westminster Vt.and Miriam Pattee born in Thorton N.H.
The Kimbles, Robinsons and Van Vlack families all lived near each other in Elburn Ill (Kane Co.)in the early 1850s and moved together to Blackhawk co. Iowa around 1855.
Richard and Ellen homesteaded near Roland Iowa in Story Co.
