levi norton b- 8-3-1823 wayne co. pa. d- 8-15-1901 buried at zearing cem. in hardin,ia. parents was samuel b- 6-11-1799 ill. & jurusha norton b-8-4-1799 ill. d- 9-14-1849 ia. levi married to catherine gilmore in 1854 in laselle , ill. she died in 1-17-1891 ,they lived there from 1855 till 1861 , he farm (where etna moore resides) childrenjerusha b- 11-11-1855 , eliza b- 10-10-1857 , samuel j. b- 2-5-1860,thomas w. b-2-13-1864 , fanny b- 3-23-1870 , emily belle b- 7-17-1873. then all move from story to nevada to boone then marshall countries then move to hardin country lived there till died.he was a farmer & they was member of evangical church .
