Just found some info on David and Betsy Smith Gardner, about their son John Henry Gardner who states in a story about himself that he left home at 20 yrs old and lost track of his family. My father-in-law is Nels Gardner Bodin. His mother was Anne Maria Gardner who was the daughter of John Henry Gardner and Anna Akeson. John's parents are David Gardner and Betsy Ann Smith. You may already at this time have this information. I found a letter from John Henry Gardner telling his life story at the age of 92. I'm not sure yet what year this was written down, but he states he lost track of his family. I left several other notes to you. I hope one of them finds it's way to you. Thank you, Barb Bodin
