Samuel S Patterson was born abt 1874 in Ohio and married Jennie A Mell about 1902 in Iowa. She was the daughter of Thomas Mell and Nancy Rollins. She was born July 19, 1875 in IL and died Feb 15, 1970 in Oskaloosa, Mahaska County, Iowa

Samuel was a dentist/Oral Surgeon in Story, Story County, Iowa in the 1910, 1920, and 1930 federal census. They had three children, apparently in Story: Jack T Patterson born June 11, 1906, Gladys V Patterson born about 1908, and Jean M Patterson born about 1913 in Story.

I am tracing the Mell descendants and would like any information on these descendants. Any help would be greatly appreciated. If they are interested I have a great deal of Mell information to share.
