From the research I did, it appears that Lydia Stangler Ryan died on February 8, 1950 and not in July, 1950 and is buried in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Manly, Worth County, Iowa. Here is her obituary:

Former Manly Resident Dies

Manly — Funeral services were held for Mrs. Ole Ryan, 57, Saturday at Sacred Heart church at Manly, with the Rev. Leo E. Derga officiating. Burial was in the Catholic cemetery. Mrs. Ryan, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Stangler who farmed east of Manly for a number of years, died Wednesday at her home in Ames. Beside the husband, she leaves 2 sons, Edward and Hildrith Ryan, and 3 brothers, Len Stangler, Manly; Edward of Plymouth and Joseph of Mason City.
