I'm looking for any information on the RICE family that migrated from Highland Co., Ohio to Story Co. My great-great-grandmother, Sarah RICE was born in Ireland 28 November 1822 and married Thomas Jefferson CHAFFIN in Ohio in 1840. I noticed that there were other RICEs whose origins were Irish and also moved from Highland, Co., Ohio at about the same time (Biddy RICE GRIFFITH and her neice and nephew Susan and Peter RICE). I thought that 'Biddy' might well be my Sarah's sister. Anyone out there with info on this family?
