SCHMIDT, SMITH, AHRENS, ANDERSON, ENGEL, OBERG

Four of Mikkel & Bodie Marie SCHMIDT's children immigrated from Denmark & lived mostly in Iowa. I'm interested in communicating with any of their descendants. This is what I have on these families:

Ingeborg SCHMIDT & her husband Ingowald ANDERSON lived in Story City, Iowa. Ingeborg died when her son Andy was born, about 1886. When Andy grew up he was a veterinarian in Des Moines, Iowa.

Marcus SMITH, a painter & paper hanger, lived in Story City & Boone. He had a little store there. Markus married Christine B. CHRISTIANSON & had a family. 'Tina Smith died in Mackey, Boone County in 1930. Markus died 12 May 1939 in Story City?

Matilda SCHMIDT married Anton ENGEL & they lived in Story City & Boone, Iowa & Braidwood, Illinois. 'Tilda & Anton Engel are buried in E. Linwood Cemetery in Boone, Iowa.

My Great Grandmother Margrethe SCHMIDT married first Adolph AHRENS, & second William OBERG. This family lived mostly in Boone County, Iowa until they moved to Payette, Idaho.
