I don't believe the family I search belongs with this set of people, but I will try. I am searching for Mary Ellen Brown that married Henry W. Brown and they were living in Hamilton Co. in the 1870 census. This was the second marriage for both of them. Mary Ellen's first husband was Jacob Washburn who died in IN. They both had children with their first spouse and then had children of their own. One of Mary Ellen and Jacob's son was living on a Pratt farm in another county in the 1870 census. For this reason I figured it might be a good idea to write. The Washburns were afflicted with HD disease.
