THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Tuesday, January 24, 2006.

Selma Lee, 91, of Story City died Saturday, Jan. 22, at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 25, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Story City. Burial will be in Story City Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 26, with the family present from 6 to 8 at Bethany Manor Chapel. A prayer service will be at 6:30 p.m. Soderstrum Funeral Home in Story City is in charge of arrangements.

Selma D. Lee, 91, of Story City, died Sunday, Jan. 22, at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Story City. Burial will be in Story City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 26, with the family present after 6 p.m. at Bethany Manor Chapel in Story City.

Selma was born July 14, 1914, near Jewell to Oney and Malena (Helgoy) Stensland near Jewell. She married Franklin Lee Nov. 28, 1935.

She is survived by her children, Janet (Kenneth) Stock of Ankeny, Karen (Terry) Johnson of Omaha, Neb., Frank (Jean) Lee of Estero, Fla., Larry (Sandy) Lee of Atlanta, Sally (Steve) Davis of Bonita Springs, Fla., and Charles (Donna) Lee of Plano, Texas; 13 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Franklin; three brothers Able, Bert and Elmer Stensland; and four sisters Mable Egemo, Judy Ford, Agnes Matson and Jo Ella Kopp.

Memorials may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church.
