THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Sunday, December 18, 2005.

Marge Beard, 85, of Madrid, died Saturday, Dec. 17, at Madrid Home. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 20, at Palestine Lutheran Church in rural Huxley.

Marge was born Jan. 28, 1920, in Ankeny, the daughter of Harry and Mable (Leese) Wee. She worked as a beautician in the Huxley and Des Moines area for several years and was a homemaker. She was a lifelong member of Palestine Lutheran Church in rural Huxley.

She is survived by one daughter, Brenda Breining of West Des Moines; three granddaughters, Dawn and Wendy Breining of Des Moines, and Kara Breining of Richardson, Texas.

She was preceded in death by two husbands; one son; and one son-in-law.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 19, at Palestine Lutheran Church in rural Huxley.

Soderstrum Riis Funeral Home in Slater is in charge of arrangements.
