Mrs. Oscar (Winnie Mae) Warren, 64, 317 E. Lincoln Way, Ames, IA, died at 6:50 p.m. Friday, Jul 27, 1956, at her home at Ames, IA, after an illness of a year and one-half with a heart condition.
She was the daughter of Estella and William Sills, born June 2, 1892, here at Ames. She was married to Oscar Warren Feb 5, 1907, here at Ames.
Her husband survives, along with four sons—Russell, Robert and Lloyd, all of Ames, IA, and Edward of Glendale, Calif; three daughters—Mrs. Lyle Cadman and Mrs. Sterling Knutson, both of Ames, and Mrs. Steve Langford of Bell Gardens, Calif; 20 grandchildren, and 10 great grand- children; and two sisters—Mrs. Floyd Johnson and Mrs. William Pfautz, both of Cedar Rapids, IA.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Clarence, Glade, and Carrel Sills, and a sister, Mrs. Edith Barber, all of Ames, IA
Funeral will be Monday at 3 p.m. at the Evangelical United Brethren Church with the Rev. A. E. Wilken in charge. Burial will be in Municipal Cemetery.
Mrs. Warren was a member of the EUB Church.
