Funeral services for Ralph Warren, 55, died Feb 14, 1962. He resided at 609 Duff Avenue, Ames, IA, and services were held at the Adams Funeral Home Feb 16, with the Rev Hectar Thompson officiating.

Burial was in the Ames Municipal cemetery with the American Legion conducting military services. Pallbearers included William Smith, Alva Ellis, Dick West, Russell Smith, George Fennell, and Emerson Gorman.

Born Feb 4, 1907 in Story County, IA, northeast of Ames, he was united in marriage to Opal Kitchen on Oct 20, 1928. One daughter was born to this union.

Mr. Warren was a lifelong resident of this area. He served a year in the U.S. Navy during 1944.

Survivors include his wife, Opal, and daughter, Joyce, as well as three grandsons; four brothers, Albert, Floyd, Willard, and Fred, and one sister, Dorothy and a half brother, Oscar, and a half sister, Mrs. Harley Smith.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, one brother, and two half sisters.
