Floyd Warren, 78 1714 Clark Street, Ames, IA, died Monday, Nov 13, 1989, of heart failure at home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Nov 16, at 10:30 a.m., at Stevens Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in Story Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Floyd Warren was born Dec 25, 1910, in Nevada, IA, to Arthur and Wave (Caldwell) Warren. He lived in Nevada until he was 16 years old and then moved to Ames, IA, for 65 years. He was employed as a feed mill operator for Coopers Mill in Ames, retiring in 1965. He then did security work for Burns Security Company at Sunstrand Sauer, Inc., until 1986. On June 14, 1932, he married Inez Rainey in Nevada, IA

Survivors include his wife, Inez; one daughter, Helen Warren of Council Bluffs, IA; three sons, Jack of Ames, IA, Lester of Marion, IA, and Tom of Ames, IA; two brothers, Willard Warren of Ames and Frederick Harrison of Newton, IA; one sister, Dorothy Overgaard of Ames, IA; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sons, three brothers, three half-sisters, and two half- brothers.

Visitation will be this evening, Wednesday, Nov 15, from 5 to 8 p.m., with the family present from 7-8 p.m., at Stevens Memorial Chapel.
