Erlinda Warren, 59, of Ames, IA, died Monday of cancer at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St Cecilia Catholic Church. The body will be cremated and burial will be at a later date in the Philippines.

Erlinda Warren was born on May 19, 1940, in Pasig, Philippines, the daughter of Fortunato Cruz and Engracia Reynoso. She had been a resident of Ames for 25 years, moving from the Philippines to Ames at age 34. She married Jackson Warren in 1974. She worked at 3-M as a machine operator. She was a member of St Cecilia Catholic Church and the Filipino Association.

She is survived by her husband; one son, James Warren of Ames, IA, and one sister.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister.

Visitation is from 6-8 p.m. tonight at Stevens Memorial Chapel in Ames with a scripture service at 7:30 p.m.

Stevens Memorial Chapel in Ames is in charge of arrangements.
