THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Wednesday, November 30, 2005.

Phyllis Marie Brown, 65, of Ames, died Friday, Nov. 25, in Ames. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Adams Funeral Home in Ames. Burial will be in Fjeldberg Lutheran Church Cemetery in Huxley.

Phyllis was born Jan. 7, 1940, in Ames to Leslie and Minnie (Scott) Brown. She was a lifetime resident of Ames and was a homemaker. She enjoyed porcelain dolls and was an Elvis fan.

She is survived by one daughter, Dianna (Gregory) Rivera-Belle of Ames; one son, James (Stephanie) Rivera of Ames; one sister, Delores Robinson of Ames; two brothers, Jerald Brown of Ames and David Brown of Story City; two grandchildren, Jessica Rivera and Katie Rivera, both of Ames; and one great-grandson, Spencer Corson, of Ames.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Shirley Alexander; and one brother, Larry Brown.
