THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Tuesday, November 29, 2005.

Samuel Joseph Beyer, 34, of Des Moines, died Nov. 27, in Ankeny. Services will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 1 at Adams Funeral Home in Ames with the Rev. Tom Prochnow officiating. Burial will be in Ames Municipal Cemetery.

Samuel was born to John Roger and Mary Kay (Miller) Beyer in Altus, Okla. He was a 1989 graduate of Colo-Nesco High School. He graduated with honors from UT Technical School in Phoeniz. He was also a GM ASE certified master technician and mentor in all fields. Heworked as the service manager at Bob Brown GMC. He was being awarded world class technician. He is the only service manager in the North Central Region to have this award. He was rated No.1 electrical/electronics technician four years in a row.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy of Ankeny; his mother, Mary Kay Beyer of Grimes; one son, Bram Scott Beyer of Ankeny; two sisters, Angela Hardy of Gilbert and Brenda Beyer of Story City; one half-brother Ben Jameson of Grimes; and his aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 30, at Adams Funeral Home in Ames.
