OBITUARY

L. O. Williamson

Lewis O. Williamson, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Knute Williamson, was born in Story county, Nov. 22, 1872, and passed away at the Boone hospital August 21, 1934, at the age of 62 years, 9 months and 1 day. He was united in marriage on March 4th, 1905, to Christina Reinerson. To this union eight children were born. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith.

He leaves to mourn his passing his wife and the eight children: Mrs. Margaret Hovland of Jewell, Mrs. Louise Smith, Mrs. Amanda Miller, Lester, and Mrs. Bertha Mickel of Boone, Mrs. Agnes Williams of Williams, and Dorothy and Helen at home. He is also survived by one sister, Mrs. P. A. Peterson, and a half-sister, Mrs. W. C. Spencer; and seven grand-children, Mildred, Virgil and Bill Smith, Marjorie and Arnold Miller, Archie Mickel and Charles Williams; and other relatives and friends.

A short service was held at the house with Mrs. Bostwick singing "Face to Face," followed by services at the Christian church in Boone, where Mrs. Bostwick and Miss Gay Hart sang "Jesus Is Calling," "Going Down the Valley," and "Shall We Gather at the River?" Miss Neva Mass accompanied on the piano. The pallbearers were his old time neighbors, Mat and Will Oswald, Andrew and Henry Bickelhaupt, Nels Laueson and Will Holm.

All his children and his sister, Mrs. P. A. Peterson, were at his bedside before he died.
