OBITUARY.

Engerbrit Engerbritson [sic] died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. J. Charlson, Friday, from the effects of stroke of paralysis. He was born in Norway eighty-six years ago, and came to this country, direct to Iowa about 1855. He was a man highly respected by all who know him, a kind husband and father, and his loss will be keenly felt by the family and numerous friends.

The funeral services were held at the home at two o'clock and later at the St. Petri church here. The services were conducted by Rev. Vangsnes. The remains were buried in the cemetery at this place. He leaves an aged wife who has traveled life's highway until she has reached the eighty-fourth mile post, and six sons and daughters. Their are Mrs. T. Lein of Estherville; Mrs. P. W. Rask, Mcpherson, Kan.; Nels Engerbritson, Harrison, Neb.; K. Engebritson, Des Moines; Mrs. George Larson and Mrs. J. Charlson of near Story City. The sympathy of every one is extended to the bereaved family.
