DEATH COMES SUDDENLY

Mrs. Ida Hazelbaker Passes Away of Cerebral Hemorrhage.

Mrs. Ida Hazelbaker, died very suddenly at 5 o'clock last Thursday morning at St. Thomas hospital, where on Monday she submitted to an operation for both appendicitis and gall stones.

Mrs. Hazelbaker was making a most satisfactory recovery, and on Wednesday evening her physician had announced that she was doubtless out of danger from the operation. A few hours later she lapsed into a coma, and never regained consciousness. Death was due to a cerebral hemorrhage.

Mrs. Ida Quinn Hazelbaker was 32 years old, and came here four years ago from Lincoln, Neb. Her former home was in Crete, Neb., where her mother, Mrs. Rebecca Quinn, resides. Four sisters and four brothers survive the deceased, as does also one daughter, Macel, aged 15, who is in school at St. Mary's Institute, Omaha. Mrs. Hazelbaker's brothers and sisters are: Mrs. A. D. Sauer and John Quinn, of this place; Miss Kate Quinn, of Marshalltown; Mrs. H. B. Smith, Roy, Michael and Minnie Quinn, of Crete, Neb.; and James Quinn, of Goldfield, Nevada.

The body was brought to Story City, in charge of Mrs. Sauer and Miss Kate Quinn, Friday and the funeral services were conducted by Rev. Alber in the Evangelical church. The pall bearers were: Vigo Jensen, Charles Bartlett, Edwin Jacobson, John Gjeston, L. A. Dale and T. Knutson.
