TWO CALLED BY DEATH PAST WEEK

Robert Rasmussen

Robert Rasmussen was born in Raarup, Denmark, June 11, 1876 and died Dec. 6, 1924 at his home near McCallsburg, Iowa, at the age of 48 years. He came to America with his parents in 1884 locating near Randall, Iowa, where he spent most of his life. He was united in marriage to Eva Crowder, Nov. 18, 1899. He leaves to mourn his death, his wife and five children, Mrs. Morris Hill living near McCallsburg, Raleigh, Florence, Delbert and Leo Rasmussen who are at home. Another daughter, Vera, died in infancy. He also leaves a grandson and four sisters and two brothers, Mrs. Stena Jergen and Mrs. Caroline of Des Moines, Mrs. Sena Christensen of Randall, Mrs. Mary Rogers and Carl Rasmussen of Radcliffe, besides many other relatives and hosts of friends. He joined the Christian church in 1913 at Zearing, Iowa, and has always been a faithful worshiper. He was a kind husband and father who was always looking forth to the benefit of his family.
