NEVADA,IA.-- Irven W. Williams, 81, of Nevada died of a respiratory aliment Saturday at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames. Services will be Monday at 1:30 p.m. at Chet Ryan Mortuary here. Buriel will be in Story Memorial Gardens in Ames.

Mr. Williams was a lifelong resident of the Nevada area, where he was a retired farmer, a former Nevada Township trustee and a member of the United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Hazel; a son, Don of Maxwell; four daughters, Carolyn of Nevada, Beverly Johnson of Roland, Cheryl Metcalf of Loveland Colo., and Pam Whisenant of Denver Colo.; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Friends may call after noon today at the funeral home.
