Raymond Don Honderd
Raymond Don Honderd, only son of Mr. and Mrs. Rhiner Honderd, was born Dec. 13, 1927, in Flint, Mich., and passed away at the home of Mrs. Honderd's sister, Mrs. John A. Johnson, near Story City, Iowa, on Dec. 15, 1929, at the age of 2 years and 2 days.
Donnie was a lovely child and always had a smile for all, and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He leaves to mourn his death, his parents; in Iowa: a grandfather, Henry Jacobs; two aunts, Mr. John A. Johnson and Mrs. Frank E. Doolittle; two uncles, Martin and Oliver Jacobs, and 12 cousins; in Michigan: grandpa and grandma Honderd; four aunts, Miss Ann Honderd, Mrd. Mary Spaman, Mrs. Dennis Sinke and Miss Elsalena; six uncles, Simon, John, Peter, William Joe and Jake Honderd, and seven cousins.
A precious one from us has gone,
A voice we loved is stilled;
A place is vacant in our home
That never can be filled.
