Ames, Sept. 7.--Word was received in Ames Friday of the death of Mrs. Ira Ball. Mrs. Ball, who has been suffering from consumption for some time, has been in Colorado for the past six weeks for the benefit of her health. Mrs. Ball will be remembered as Miss Blanche McDaniel. She leaves a husband, three children, a sister and two brothers, besides a host of friends to mourn her death. Mrs. Ball's body was brought to Ames last evening at six o'clock and was buried today at 2:00.
