Attend Funeral

Mr. and Mrs. Edward Tweedt, Floyd Bryant, Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Anderson and Mr. and Mrs. Oley Houge attended the funeral services in Nevada Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Memorial Lutheran Church for Mrs. Winnie Gear. Mrs. Gear, who was 88 year old, died Friday at the Story County Hospital in Nevada. Among the survivors are her sister, Mrs. Edward Tweedt of Slater, and a brother, Eargen Stenson, in South Dakota. Many years ago Mrs. Gar and her husband, the late Walter Gear, operated a restaurant in Slater for a while. She was an aunt of Floyd Bryant and Mrs. Anderson. Pallbearers were Art Shold, Fred Stenson, Delmar Bryant, Ralph Bryant, Dwayne Tweedt and Merlin Brunson.
