Pete Peterson of Kelley Dead

Peter L. Peterson, 68 years of age, long-time resident of the Kelley community, died last Saturday night at Mary Greeley hospital in Ames.

Death was attributed to pneumonia. Mr. Peterson had been in ill health for more than a year.

Born Apr. 20, 1874, at Bergen, Norway, he came with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lars Peterson, in 1880 to a farm near Kelley, Here he spent the remainder of his life.

Mr. Peterson was a member of the Fjeldberg church of Huxley where funeral services were held at 2:00 p. m. Tuesday. Rev. Perry Sampson officiated.

Burial was in the Fjeldberg church cemetery.

Mr. Peterson had never married. He is survived by his father, Lars L. Peterson of Kelley; a sister, Mrs. Rachel Michaelson, also of Kelley, and a brother, William Peterson, of Ames.
