AT REST.

Bessie Hanson, aged 15 years died at the home of her mother in Des Moines, last Friday, from lung fever. She was well known to many in Slater, having made her home with Mr. and Mrs. Henry Fatland some two years ago. The funeral took place from the family home Sunday and was largely attended. To know her was to love and esteem her and we can deeply sympathize with the sorrowing relatives sisters, brother and friends dear to her life, who now only can think of her in sorrow, knowing that to meet her again they, too, must cross the river of death. Truly it might be said that in her heart was the bough of kindness.

Mr. and Mrs. H. Fatland, Louise Fatland and Rebecca Johnson from Slater, and Oscar and Cora Fatland of Cambridge attended the funeral of Bessie Hanson in Des Moines, Sunday.
