THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Tuesday, September 27, 2005.

Margaret A. Cooper, 92, of Ames, died Sunday, Sept. 25, at Mary Greeley Medical Center. Services will be at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 29, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Ames. Burial will be in Ames Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at St. Thomas with a scripture service at 6:30 p.m.

Margaret was born Sept. 3, 1913, in Boone County to Clarence Vincent and Anna Josephine (Jordan) Cooper. She was a lifelong resident of the Napier neighborhood. She worked as a lab technician at ISU for 30 years. She was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.

She is survived by one brother, Richard (Mildred) Cooper of Boone County; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Clarence and James; and three sisters, Catherine Snider, Dorothy Musgrove and Mary Kregel.

Memorials may be given to St. Thomas Aquinas Church.

Adams Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
