On Mar. 31, 1897 she married John Richardson. They moved in their new home, two miles south of Kelley, where she lived until death claimed her. Mr. Richardson preceded her in death on Aug. 17, 1944.
To this union six children were born. A son, Thomas, and a daughter, Matilda, preceded her in death. Four sons survive: Richard, at home; Martin of Ames; Elmer of Slater and Oliver of Kelley; also three grandchildren, Idelles Ann, Don Neil and Linda Jo Richardson. Mrs. Gladys Higgins, now of Chicago, made her home with them from infancy.
Her father and mother, a brother Henry and one sister Alice preceded her in death. Other survivors include five sisters and two brothers; Mrs. Ole Lee, Mrs. Emma Simonson, Mrs. Helen Storing, Mrs. Joe Traverse, Mrs. Clara Brown, Oliver Weeks and Weir Weeks.
Mrs. Richardson had been in failing health since the first of the year. She was hospitalized a month and passed away at the Lutheran hospital in Des Moines Apr. 4 at the age of 76 years, 11 months and 8 days.
