William Graeber Services on Sunday

Funeral services for William Graeber were held at the Methodist church in Sheldahl Sunday afternoon with Rev. Fred Martin of Yale, former pastor, in charge. Lester Moore sand "Old Rugged Cross" and "Sunrise Tomorrow."

Mrs. August Carlson and Mrs. Arnold DeBie had charge of the flower arrangement.

Pallbearers were Wilbur Thornwall, L. P. Earp, John Buche, Earl Mosebach and Arnold DeBie.

Interment was in the Sheldahl cemetery.

Obituary.

William Fredrick Graeber, son of Phillip and Margaretta Graeber, was born in Franklin, Ia., Aug. 8, 1865.

Mr. Graeber suffered a stroke on Sept. 14 and was taken to the Lutheran hospital in Des Moines Sept. 29, where he had been a patient until his death Oct. 22, at the age of 87 years, 2 months and 14 days.

He was baptized in infancy in the Evangelical Saint Peters church at Crocker, Ia. In 1868 he moved with his parents from Franklin to Crocker, where he resided on a farm until the year 1875. At this time he moved to Sheldahl, where he lived until his death. In 1904 and 1905 he lived in Regent, N. D. Every spring and fall since 1914 has found him visiting at the Ernest Graeber home in Regent.

Mr. Graeber is survived by two brothers, George of Cheyenne, Wyo., and Barney of Des Moines, 46 nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers and three sister.

His niece, Gertrude Graeber, has resided with him for 19 years.
