From Ames Intelligencer, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Thursday, September 1st, 1904.

Inez Myrtle Ball was born at Cambridge, Iowa, June 27, 1881 and died at Ames, Ia., August 27, 1904 being 23 yrs. and 3 months of age. She lived 21 years in Ames and was a regular attendant at church and Sunday school; for years she had an active part in the church work being a member of the choir and in Sunday school as a teacher. Months ago she resigned her class as teacher on account of failing health. She was a charter member of the Y.P.C.U. She joined the United Brethren church when a girl; was the daughter of Mrs. A. M. Ball, and was one of the family of 6 children, 2 of which have preceded her into another world. The funeral was preached in the United Brethren church by the pastor in the presence of an overflowing house. The Yoeman lodge attended in a body. The token of remembrance by way of flowers was very fine and showed the high esteem in which she was held.
