Mrs. D. L. (Louise) Lanning , 209 Welch Ave., died this morning at 5:30 at her home from a heart ailment. She had been ill several months.

Mrs. Lanning was 77, born July 1, 1879 at Council Bluffs. She had lived in Ames since January 1, 1920. She attended Collegiate Methodist Church and was a member of Eastern Star.

Funeral will be Monday at 1:30 p.m. at Adams Chapel with the Rev. G. S. Nichols of Collegiate Methodist in charge.

She was married to Daniel L. Lanning Sept. 20, 1897 at Glenwood, Iowa. He survives along with a daughter, Mrs. Eva Robbins, Ames; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Nina Lanning, Boone; five grandchildren; Irving Lanning, Akron, Ohio; Charles Robbins, Gainsville, Florida; and Mrs. Nina Cleary and Peg and Delores Robbins, Ames; and six great grandchildren.
