OBITUARY.

Mrs. Carrie Lande, nee Skimmeland was born June 2, 1856, and married to Mr. Albert A. Lande, in later part of May 1876 and died at her home near Kelley, Tuesday afternoon November 21, 1896, at 2 o'clock, from lung fever.

Deceased was a member of the Lutheran church, a patient christian lady, and died with firm faith in the atonement of her Savior. The funeral services were held Friday afternoon and conducted by Rev. N. B. Thvedt.

She leaves a husband, two sons, Amos E. and Jacob O., aged respectively 19 and 17, on brother and three sisters to mourn her departure. We join their many sincere friends and neighbors in extending out heartfelt sympathies to the afflicted ones.
