At the home of a daughter at Ames last Thursday morning took place the death of Mrs. Charley Heggen, after an illness that dated back six months. Her husband, Charley Heggen, born and reared south of Huxley died in 1922. Mrs. Heggen will better be remembered by many as Hannah Ryerson, formerly of near Cambridge, where she was born June 16, 1870. Funeral was held from the Lutheran church at Ames on Friday afternoon, after which the remains were taken to Elmore, Minnesota, her former home, for burial. She is survived by five children. Also five brothers and sister. Of the latter are Oscar Ryerson of Huxley, Mrs. Louis Roe and Rinard Ryerson of Ames and Mrs. J. P. Larson of Elmore, Minn.
