CARL ANDERSON DEAD.

Carl C. Anderson, a former citizen of this city, but for the last year of Ames, died at his home after an illness which had continued throughout the spring and summer. The funeral will take place at the home tomorrow at 11:00 o'clock, after which the remains will be brought to this city for burial. Interment will take place at Nevada cemetery at 2:30.

The deceased was born in Copenhagen, Denmark, about 34 years ago. After reaching his majority he came to America and was married to Miss Ellen Edwinson, daughter of Mrs. Peter Hanson of this city, who survives him. He is also survived by a father still in Copenhagen and one brother who lives in Brooklyn, N. Y.

He was well known in this city for many years as a laborer and later as a proprietor of a popcorn and peanut stand on the corner of Lynn and First avenue north. About a year ago he moved to Ames. He has not been well all season, having been a sufferer from acute kidney trouble. Some weeks ago he went down to Colfax and returned a couple of weeks ago feeling considerably improved. The many friends in this city will sympathize with the wife in her bereavement.
