Funeral Services for Mary Hoffmeister at Ames Today

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Hoffmeister, 68, Ames woman, were held this afternoon, with short services at the Adams Funeral chapel at 1:00 followed by a funeral at the Mackey church at 3:00 with Rev. C. E. Lookingbill of Nevada in charge.

Mrs. Hoffmeister, who died on Tuesday afternoon at 3:30 was born Mary Dvoracek, March 15, 1870 in Linn county, she was married to John Hoffmeister Sept. 1, 1892. Mr. Hoffmeister died 34 years ago, and a few years later she moved to Ames.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. S. E. Sorenson and Mrs. Blanche Adams of Ames, and Mrs. Elmer Sorenson of Story City, also two brothers, Joe Dvoracek of Ames and Frank Dvoracek of Sioux City.
