“BABY BOY DIES, BURIAL IN MAXWELL CEMETERY. Special to Journal. Maxwell, July 13 – The infant son, Steven Earl, born on Wednesday, June 30, to Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Bell in the Iowa Lutheran hospital in Des Moines, passed away Saturday, July 1 and burial was made on Monday in the Maxwell cemetery. The brief rites were held at 10:30 in the morning in charge of Rev. David S. deBest.”
