Funeral Services for Former State Center Woman

State Center, Sept. 10--Funeral services will be held at St. Paul's Lutheran church here at 2:00 p.m., Friday for Mrs. George Wohlert, who died at St. Mary's hospital, Rochester, Minn., Wednesday, following an operation which developed bronchial pneumonia and caused her death.

Mrs. Wohlert was born Esther Bence in Story county, May 28, 1881, a daughter of Lewis and Ellen Shearer Bence. She married George Wohlert, April 6, 1899.

Besides her husband and one daughter, Mrs. Wohlert is survived by three sisters and two brothers. These are Mrs. George J. Yager of State Center; Mrs. Hal Wilson, of Independence, Mo.; Mrs. George Hagedorn of Garwin, Louis Bence of Chicago, Ill.; and Harley Bence of Marshalltown.
