Funeral Services Held on Sunday for Mrs. Rasmusson

Funeral services for the late Mrs. Osmund Rasmusson, who passed away at her home north of Story City on Thursday night at the age of 84 years, four months and six days, were held from the North St. Petri's church in Randall on Sunday afternoon and were very largely attended by relatives and friends.

The deceased was a native of Norway but came to Leland, Ill. in 1857. She was married in 1868 and to this union was born four sons and five daughters. They are Ritland of California; Emma Sandness, Olina Anderson, Mabel Rump and Edith Braland, all of whom live in Minnesota; R. O. Rasmusson, who lived with his mother; Elias Rasmusson of Alden, Martin of Sioux Falls, S.D., and Lewis of West Concord, Minn. A half brother, Martin Edwinson, who lives at the Rasmusson home, also survives. Burial was in the Mamrelund cemetery.

Among the local relatives in attendance at the services were Mrs. R. L. Winders and daughter Betty of Marshalltown, Evalina Rhoades of Ames, Sivrie Kinsey of Nevada, Johnnie Danielson and wife of Nevada, R. Rasmusson and wife of Marshalltown, and Mrs. Celia Waugh of Radcliffe.
