DEATHS

RENA PHILLIPS

Rena Phillips, 91 of Nevada, died Saturday, March 19, 1983 at the Story County Hospital in Nevada.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, March 22 at the Ryan Funeral Home with Dr. William Bass officiating. Burial will be at the Nevada Cemetery.

Phillips was born to John and Hannah (Booher) Holder on Jan. 10, 1892 in Nevada. She was educated in the Nevada schools.

She married Joseph Phillips in June of 1916 in Nevada. She had been an employee of the Donnelley Corp. before retiring in 1987. She was affiliated with the Nevada Christian Church.

Phillips is survived by one son, Lawrence Phillips of Alvin, Tex.; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Joseph, who died in 1938; two children, Maurice and Marion; and two brothers, Carl and Vitas.

The family will receive friends at the Ryan Funeral Home in Nevada Monday evening.
