Former Resident Dies in Bellvue, Wash. December 22

Funeral services for Albert D. Hix, formerly of Nevada, were held at the Chapel of Flowers in Bellevue, Wash. December 24.

The son of S. R. and Jennie B. Hix, Route 1, Nevada, he was born at Zearing, June 3, 1913. He was married to Lillian Knoop of LeMars on July 27, 1933 and the couple made their home in Seattle for the past 20 years.

He died December 22 after a year's illness.

Hix is survived by his wife, of the home; his children, Nancy Lee Anderson, Patricia M. Mensch, Steven R. Hix and Alan D. Hix, all of Seattle; his mother, Jennie B. Hix of Nevada, a sister Joy B. Boyce of Des Moines, and a brother, Chief M. Sgt. S. Dale Hix of Hamilton Air Force Base.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Burial was in the Sunset Hills Memorial Park in Bellevue, Wash.
