T. O. Olson Rites Held Recently In St. Petri Church

Funeral services for T. O. Olson were held in St. Petri Lutheran Church, Story City Municipal cemetery. Pallbearers were Harold Henryson, Walter Mortvedt, Ansel Mortvedt, Magne Idse, Charles Parrish and Robert E. Larson.

Life Sketch

Thomas Ole Olson, son of Samuel H. and Anna Henryson Olson was born February 27, 1887 at Story City and died at his home on August 9. He was baptized and confirmed in the St. Petri Lutheran Church in Story City.

On April 14, 1908 he was united in marriage to Ada J. Stevens at Superior, Iowa. To this union was born one daughter, Ann. They spent their entire married life in Story City and celebrated their golden wedding anniversary on April 13, 1958.

Olson engaged in various businesses in Story City and for the past 28 years has farmed the original place in which he was born. He is survived by his wife; and daughter, Ann, along with her husband, G. H. Lavely and his one grandson, Thomas Lavely, all of Topeka, Kansas.
