Sudden Death of Mrs. John English at Home In Ames
Mrs. Ava F. Inglish, 79, former Nevada woman, died suddenly during the night at her home at 1505 Kellogg avenue, Ames.
While Mrs. Inglish had not been well for a week, she had been able to be up and about the home and was assisted to her bed by her husband early in the evening. A short time later Mr. Inglish went to the bed and found her dead. She apparently passed without a struggle.
A physician was hastily summoned and help was soon at hand but all to no avail.
Mrs. Inglish, who would have been 79 years of age had she lived until Saturday, May 24, was married to John Inglish on September 24, 1909. Mr. Inglish was then a farmer near Nevada.
Both had been married before and each had a daughter. The daughter of Mr. Inglish died a few years later and Mrs. Inglish is now survived by her husband and her daughter, Mrs. Lela Land of Ames.
Funeral arrangements await word from relatives at a distance.
