FUNERAL OF KELLEY CHILD.

Rev. Edward Duea of Slater Preached The Sermon.

Special to the Journal.

Slater, Nov. 25.--Rev. E. Duea conducted funeral services at Kelley for the infant daughter, Dorothy, of Mr. and Mrs. Milford Thompson, Friday afternoon at the Bethany church at 1 o'clock. The church was filled to its utmost capacity. Duets were sung by Mrs. Zimmerman and Miss Ford. The flowers were numerous and beautiful. The baby had been taking treatments at the Lutheran hospital, Des Moines, and had been brought home*. She was three months old. Besides the sorrowing parents, its grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Randall Thompson and Mr. and Mrs. Thor Mason and its great-grandmother, Mrs. Gertie Richardson, are left to mourn the loss of the little one.
